That's a kinda old school combo, but yeah, it can help. In more severe cases of OCD, or cases of OCD where you also have significant agitation, sometimes low-to-moderate doses of antipsychotics are used.
3mgs/Risperidone isn't bad. I was on 4mgs, along with some other stuff, after a full blown psychotic episode. I think they go up to 6 or 8 or something...the max used to be higher, but high doses cause problems, so docs tend to stick lower these days. Progress, right?
