The dose may therefore require some increase over time because your adrenal glands will not be producing as much cortisol (hydrocortisone). There's also a possibility of the initial positive psych effects turning bad.
Would it be feasible to use intermittent low-dose courses? (Osteoporosis prophylaxis is advisable if repeated courses are necessary).
