I am taking clorazepate (Tranxene) since it is an inactive prodrug of a "partial" benzo with a long half-life without being effectively negative like flumazenil. I want to see if it can help my memory, reduce side effects, while remaining effective like clonazepam at the right dose.
Since it even needs to metabolise into desmethyldiazepam or w/e it was in order to work, and since they made an SR version for some reason even tho it has a very long half-life (iirc citing absoprtion or metabolism irregularities that the SR prep evened out), is there any better way to take it without precipitating withdrawal? I take other meds (one is spironolactone, apparently a 3A4 inducer) and tend to eat a lot.
