The dopamine receptor blockade with Seroquel happens at higher dosages, maybe >= 200 mg. At low dosages, in the 25-100 mg range, Seroquel acts more like a sedating antihistamine and a mild antidepressant.

And it is incredibly effective as a sleep aid. I think it would be pretty much impossible for someone who is naive to the drug to take 100 mg and stay awake.
