When I used perphenazine in year 1994, I got unbearable akathisia. The psychiatric hospital pushed me to take it for three months, and I didn't get relief one single second when taking perphenazine. Four years later, I got a apology from the hospital, after fighting for it via the media. Akathisia is a common side effect of that drug.
