I have a tendency to become overly optimistic and overestimate the degree of improvement treatment produces. So, as I get better and better, I realize just how sick I was and how much further I have to go to achieve remission. The last time I felt normal was in 2001. I had just begun taking Nardil and employed one night total sleep deprivation. The next morning, I experienced 100% remission. This state of normalcy lasted for only a few hours, but it is burned deeply into my mind.
You know, they should do a study to see if there is an association between sleep-deprivation responders and response to ketamine.
