I emailed Mark George, MD at MUSC a couple of weeks ago and am very impressed with their Brain Stimulation program. But how do they fare with PET/fMRI scans to help determine medications needed for neuropsychiatric disorders or medication regimens? Some research places are more research oriented and less clinically oriented.
I believe it takes a special p-doc who will take his/her time, look at EVERYTHING impacting things and go the extra mile(s) with an individual patient that we need. Not your 15 minute type.
Thanks!
