Hey Andy! I can't believe it, I was just showing my partner, some of your old posts. She is a psychologist and was telling me about her patient who had suffered greatly throughout her life, how she finally found happiness recently, only to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Life can be so cruel. I replied, remember that guy who saved my life (you) it was the same story. She knows how upset I get when I think about what happened to you. I read her one of your posts in which you said how well you were, and feeling blessed. You also enthusiastically remarked "who knows what the future might bring". As I read those words a tear rolled down my cheek.
"He finally found happiness, I said, only to fall victim to cancer".
I looked at your long list of posts intending to read her the ones which had influenced me and which had ultimately saved me. Then I see one dated April 2013...? I re-read it three times! No way I thought, it can't be? I honestly thought after our last telephone conversation when you informed of your pending bone marrow transplant, that I thought you had lost your battle. Remember I sent you that book 'The Patient From Hell'? I refrained from calling as I didn't want to upset whoever might pick up!
This has truly made my day. A fantastic surprise to know you are still with us my friend. :)))
