Excellent news. Do be careful though. The European Medicines Agency is currently conducting a review to decide whether flupirtine will be withdrawn from the market. At the moment, it is sold in Germany and various Eastern European countries. Numerous reports of liver damage and liver failure have led to this review.
The epilepsy medication retigabine appears to have the same mechanism of action, and is not at risk of being withdrawn.
