Hi Scott

At the moment I take Lithium (0.7 mmil/l), Lamictal (300 mg/d)l, Doxepin (70 mg at night) and Parnate (120 mg in the morning). Further I take 100 mcg Thyroxin and 600 mg Trileptal at night.

This combo brought me relief for several month know - after trying most of all ADs available.

Abilify was added before about 2 years and was never the winner. I was up on 15mg/d but I couldn't handle the side effects so we went down very slowly. Until a few month I was taking 2.5 mg/d and I wanted to get rid of this drug because I couldn't see an advantage. Further I thought it makes me tired (no drive) and I gained weight?!
So my pdoc and I made the decision to leave it away. This was about one week before now. I dont know if its a withdrawal because I suffer from increased mood swings (mainly depressed) since 3 weeks. Personally I think its a mixed phase because I suffer also from anger, irritability and impatience.

My pdoc told me also about Cycrest (Asenapin) but wonder if this could be the right med. As I know its mainly for hypomanic and manic symptoms and a lot gain weight on it who didnt o Abilify.

What do you think?
