I took Viibryd + nortriptyline without sequalae. It worked for about a week before pooping-out. Effexor has an established track record for efficacy. However, Viibryd seems to have a better side-effect profile. I experienced no adverse effects on sex-drive or function with Viibryd.If you are desperate, I think Effexor is a better choice. If you can afford to invest some time in performing multiple drug trials, Viibryd is probably a better choice.
