Sorry, manic wasn't the right word - severe akathisia would probably be a better description. That, as well as drowsiness, worsened ADHD symptoms, memory issues, cognitive impairment, feeling flat and hypotension are the reasons I don't want to take Parnate during the day.
Taking it all at once in the morning, as you suggest, does help but the problems are still there.
I've tried 10 - 75 mg and it gets worse the higher I go. Right now I'm on 20 mg but I'm starting to feel depressed so I'll be bumping it up to 30 mg. Taking higher doses during the day feels very dysphoric.Taking it at night barely works for me either.. Taking it 4 - 5 hours pre-bed and then putting myself to sleep with antihistamines, melatonin, zolpidem and magnesium almost seems to cut it but most of the time I'll still wake up once or twice during the night..
This is why I'm curious if anyone have had more success taking Nardil at night/in the evening.
OTH I'm worried Nardil would deteriorate my cognition even further.. Not sure what to do really! :/> How much Parnate do you take?
