Ditto, funnily enough I was supplementing with loads of ALC to get my levels up on the advice of a CFS 'specialist'.....my cellular levels did not rise with treatment.

This makes me feel that successful treatment of a purported deficiency might not be as simple as supplementing with this (or any other) nutritional supplement if one is deficient.
