Could severe muscle tightness in my neck and jaw clenching and grinding be a side effect of Geodon? I thought someone mentioned dystonia? Not sure what that is?

I like Geodon, but in 7 days at 40mg I'm in terrible pain. Using heating back. Mandible joint & nerves to it are severely tight and painful causing ear pain. Maybe it's the serotonin in Geodon that causes this?

Due to the pain in my ears (from the tight jaw muscles) I thought sudaphed would help open my ears. HUGE mistake, now I'm having anxiety. Already took 4mg of Klonopin today.

I don't know how I'm going to sleep. Maybe Benadryl

My regular md said I need to take lexapro or Effexor for my depression, stress and anxiety, but I told her again, that those meds hurt my bladder. She was not happy. She thinks I need to take something for the stress/anxiety in my life. (I'm a cancer caregiver, old relative I check in on and old pet that's been great to me, not to mention husband, etc.). All very stressful circumstances.

My md was also not happy that I wasn't taking my Adderall. Told her it was great for depression, motivation, etc., but made me irritable and I already have insomnia.

The more I look at my life it's just been a cycle of anxiety/anger/depression.

I feel like a jittery mess tonight.
