I live with it every day. I really believe its much more common than people think. Such as when someone is doing well on a certain mood medicine and then all the sudden they "relapse", the med stops working and their mood becomes much worse.
Then many times they're unable to find another med that helps. I believe in most people this is because of a longterm change in brain functioning that was caused by the med.Even the increased suicidal thoughts side effect used to be extremely controversial, and it took MANY years for this to become an official side effect. The drug companies denied it for so long
This is a bit of the background on how the suicide side effect was added to these meds.
