I've also turned them down. But today the docs I've seen wouldn't even consider them for me. Reserved for the old term Manic depression & Schizophenia which they were originally developed for. It was off label useage And fear of benzo addiction which caused the useage. Phillipa
If you have the option to turn them down, you are not ill enough to use them. Not everyone has that luxury.
