Has anyone drained $$ to get proper meds?

I am a little worried. If I don't find a doctor willing to re-add Dexedrine to my Nardil + Xanax soon I do worry that my life will inevitably suffer, as I wade back and forth through dysthymia, depression, and relief...
I'm tempted, but rationally prevented I suppose, from seeing a "cash only" (expert, I should hope) doctor, and getting a couple months of my Dex until I find someone who takes my insurance.
