Nope. Probably should have been at some point. I know my first doc tried me on, I think two meds before Amitriptyline worked but I've forgotten what they were. Vivactil stands out because of the myoclonic jerks and the seriously funny story it caused. Wasn't funny then.
The first appt with my current doctor he wanted a list of meds I had been on. "Write on the back of the page if needed." I still remember his face when he turned the page over.
