What Lingo calls "clicking the amygdala forward"-
he describes in both versions of STW. But the importance of this can easily be overlooked, and lost in the complexity of his psychological tool kit. I like to keep things simple myself.I've re-coined this process "tickling the amygdala", because it adds on two important points, not evident in "clicking."
2) Tickling the amygdala implies a rather "effortless effort", i.e. don't work harder, work smarter>>> You don't tickle somebody with a sledge hammer or explosives, you just use a feather. It's relatively easy.
2) Tickling is a positive experience, with positive emotional feedback- unless overdone.
You smile and laugh.By just changing "clicking" to "tickling", you get a more precise idea of what we're talking about.
