I took Dexedrine for a year or so as an AD. I found it somewhat helpful in augmenting my meds and decreasing the extreme fatigue that I got from my other meds. I eventually stopped more due to logistical problems than other things. I moved and new pdoc thought it was a stupid strategy (but he was sorta a stupid pdoc, so take that for what it was worth) and I ran into issues with insurance authorizing it.
