APs don't increase dopamine. They block dopamine receptors (i.e. *lowering* dopaminergic neurotransmission). The exception is the prefrontal cortex, where the atypicals may increase dopamine release. The movement related side effects are due to the fact that APs lower dopamine signalling in motor control regions of the brain.
