Don't think it really matters, but Cymbalta has been FDA appoved to help pain. Of course, that just means the maker of Cymbalta bothered to pay for studies to prove that it worked. I believe most SSRIs and TCAs and SNRIs help pain.
I wonder, does Remeron help pain? It is certainly a good anxiolytic and antidepressant.

I really sympathize with bryn. Since my Rhabdo almost destroyed my kidneys I will never be able to take ibuprofen again. and tylenol is like a sugar pill. Sigh.

Its got me begging on my hands and knees
So take me to emergency
Cause somethin seems to be missing
Somebody take the pain away
Its like an ulcer bleeding in my brain
