And one tried to lecture me on the dangers. I basically said, look my pdoc and I both know what we are doing. Probably more than she ( the pharmacist) ever will. I was calling for a price quote, not a lecture from a pharmacist, wannabe pdoc! So, thus far the major chains in CO.is as follows- $288 an King Soopers, $185 at Walgreens. K-Mart had no idea what I was talking about. So, that was an exercise in futility. I am mustering up the mental energy to try Safeway and Rite Aid. Nardil is, of course, way cheaper at $100.49 for 180ct, 15mg or $70.49 for 90ct, 15mg at Walgreens. The problem is, I Don't Wan't Nardil. My pdoc and I both agreed on parnate and frankly dealing with the U.S. healthcare system, the FDA, and these pharmaceutical companies is fu*****. I'm sorry but it is the truth. Wr can spend money fighting these "wars" and spending billions upon billions to occupy foreign countries but we can't even take care of our own with basic health care. Sorry, but I could go on. It is ridiculous. I cannot afford to pay this kind of money for a medication that was originally made available in what, 1961. It is not even available through prescription assistance programs, because it is not one the "new and improved" anti-psychotics. Which all of the big pharma. companies are banking on right now!!!
