phentermine for zyprexa users

Posted by b2chica on December 5, 2012, at 11:22:43

ok i've only been on phentermine 2 days but so far working well regarding appetite suppressant.
as all you on zyprexa know you get nasty case of grazing and overeating at meals, or craving carbs at night.
well today is day 2 on phentermine. i take it about 9am. I am not constantly hungry as before. Food is not a major topic of the day. i'll see aobut the weight loss, but for now i've noticed it in my thinking, i dont feel my brain is telling me to eat like before. i dont have the growlies in my tummy and can eat normal size, or small meals and feel satiated.

i dont feel agitated or any more anxiety than usual (only mild) because of med.

no problem getting to sleep, zyprexa still does a good job of doing that.

i'll try to keep update once a week or so.

All i know is that if i can get off zyprexa and loose weight next spring, IF i have to go back on zyprexa or if i stay on it... i will remember to ask for phentermine in addition.
So far anyway...

i heard that it is only a temp fix for weight loss. But i'm also thinking of it as a counter weight for initial weight gain, or maintenance drug because of zyprexa.
