But we need new anxiolytics!!!!! We should form a group and protest at the drug comapnies about it.

I am tolerant to benzos, tolerant to gabapentin, Lyrica makes me crazy, antihistamines give me paradoxical agitation, Remeron paradoxically makes me agitated now too, I get akathisia with any antipsychotic, and even my friend Nardil has turned on me and does nothing for my anxiety anymore.

Oh, if only benzos still worked for me. Well they would, but I'd have to take half the bottle to get an effect. They blissfully reduce your anxiety when you first try them. I'm agnostic, and I hope I don't offend anyone, but if there is a god, it seems like he or she is messing with us...every rose has thorns, every kitten has claws, and every benzo is absolutely wonderful but then the tolerance and addiction step in.

Its got me begging on my hands and knees
So take me to emergency
Cause somethin seems to be missing

Its like an ulcer bleeding in my brain
