Sonata is given for sleep....its similar to ambien, it has short half life, usally used for sleep induction, not sleep contination through out the night. It can be someone what pleasant because of its GABA effect, but still....its nothing compared to Midazolam, i had midazolam when i got my wisdom teeth out, felt a rush of numb, then was out and didnt rerember. There may be some underground way of getting these, but i really have to say its not safe with midazolam, too many risks....when it wore off after my wisdom teeth I went into a shake like you do when your really cold, and had to wait for the withdrawl to leave in the denist chair.
This is how a typical educated psych doc will go with sleep meds: this is rough form of how i've been treated for insomnia in the past. There going in ascending order for first med to the next after one fails.
1 trazadone
2 seroquel
3 rozerm
4 remeron
3 lunesta
some others will use doxipen
4 ambien and maybe sonata....tell your doctor you just have difficulty getting to sleep and its making your day bad the next. There are some docs that will write a script of anything thing you want, only if they view it as safe
but the other stuff....its not safe....lorazepam would be better with docs.
