we get our insurance through my husband's company since i haven't been able to work. we had beautiful bc/bs, but the company had to switch to United non-health care because bc/bs had significantly raised their rates since claims had been so high for the company for the previous year. tbh, i think it was my fault b/c i had 2 inpatient stays plus ect.
can't win.
oh, and your friend is almost right...the middle class is not dead, but it is dying.
> Kat so the United Healthcare just also did this to you. But wait you said you had BCBS and the company switched do you know why as they must have known? I've heard that also companies will start cutting full time employees they have been doing this for a while here and soon all part timers so the companies won't ever have to provide health insurance as they are being forced to provide it and as my neighbors and others here say. No way out. I did a google on Medicaire supplements and basically it said doesn't matter what you pay more or less you will still only get the same insurance. Hey (said with sarcasm) the middle class is gone. Phillipa
