Hi Phillipa, sorry for the delay in my reply; that Nardil withdrawal really kicked me in the be-hind! I'm happy to say that it has almost completely resolved and I am feeling MUCH better....as always, thanks so much for your caring and support. I have to hold back tears sometimes because you are so caring and supportive. (plus, I'm pretty darn good at the tears thing lol) I think I may have explained elsewhere, but I actually went through withdrawal b/c my wonderful Nardil had turned on me and was causing anxiety at higher doses...so pdoc thought maybe we should try Parnate. But that turned out to be impossible b/c the pharmacy took forever to order it, and then once they finally had it, it turned out my fabulous new insurance won't cover it. So I went back on the Nardil, but at a lower dose which doesn't cause anxiety, in fact, at this dose (30mg/day) it works great against anxiety. But I went through SUCH a horrible withdrawal while all this was going on...finally stabilizing now.
Therapist was not pleased that I went back on the Nardil on my own when I couldn't get the Parnate. I agreed to call pdoc on Monday. I should have called him this past week, I agree, but I was in la la land, so honestly did not think about it. I know without a doubt my pdoc will be fine with what I did and will approve it. I love my pdoc, but I'm starting to wonder if I need a new therapist.

Sorry for long post; just had a huge diet coke :)
How are you feeling these days? I think about you all the time and hope that, while you are being so supportive of us all, that you are also feeling OK yourself. <3
