This is what is going on. First of all keep in mind that I have Tardive Akathisia.

I was on Ativan from about April till the middle of October. I did very well on it. I thought about trying Klonopin though because I thought it might be better in the long run. I brought this up with my doctor and I was put on Klonopin. I could only stay on it for about two weeks though because I felt worse on it. I ended up switching back to Ativan, my doctor said I could do this.

Ever since I switched back to the Ativan on October 26th, I've felt generally sick. The symptoms are basically the ones I brought up in my other posts. Last friday, I told my doctor about this and he put me on Tranxene.

It's impossible for me to stay on Tranxene. I felt so horrific on it in the last couple of days that I had to start taking Ativan again.

I have no choice but to call him tomorrow then but I'm afraid because I'm not sure if he'll prescribe me Ativan anymore. If I need to see another doctor, it may take too long and I might end up in the ER or something from my symptoms.

I'm afraid of what they'll give me in the ER or if I'm an inpatient because I have Tardive Akathisia. There are many drugs (SSRIs, APs) that will worsen it and cause it to progress even.
