Not sure about wether the combination is safe - I cant see any obvious interactions, and seetonin syndrome would be exceptionalyunlikely.
That said, I'm not sure that the combination is especialy rational, it might make more sense to take nortriptyline with Lexapro, Celexa or Zoloft (ie, an SSRI) so that you're hitting both noradrenalin and seretonin.
Of course, provided your doctor says its safe, you dont have anything to lose by trying it.
