Plus, I've just learned that my beloved pdoc's office does not accept the damned insurance my husband's company has just switched to. I don't know what to do, whether I should pay for the visits out of pocket, or if I should take my chances with someone new, which I REALLY don't want to do. I LOVE my pdoc. I feel like everything sucks right now and I just want to cry forever. Thanks for listening; I didn't mean to dump all that on you.

Hi Kat-

Hope things are getting a bit better. Just wanted to chime in: I think you should definitely stay with your current pdoc, despite the insurance issue. As I'm sure you know, finding someone who is really good is a major challenge. Plus, he knows you and your history. Having to find a new doc is exhausting, costly and stressful. Hopefully you can pay out of pocket to see your doc and maybe he'll even negotiate a fee with you.

Good luck!
