when feeling really bad, why does Trazadone help?

Posted by 4WD on September 29, 2012, at 9:47:29

I discovered this by accident. I used to take Nuvigil for chronic fatigue. When it would start wearing off, I'd feel horrible, sick, depressed, scared etc. Fur some reason I tried taking a small dose if bedtime meds: 25-50mg Trazadone, 20 mg Geodon, .25-.5 of Klonopin. Within 30 minutes, all the bad stuff would go away. Also tried it when feeling very bad on waking and it helped. Now, on Parnate, when I feel horrible from the previous nights insomnia on top of as Parnate fatigue, it helps that to o. I'm pretty sure its the Trazadone doing it-I've tried it with just the Klonopin our Geodon and no help from that. Anybody want to hazard a guess? And BTW you can take Trazadone w/MAOI-I took 100-200 mg a might for three years on Nardil and no with it now either.
