Forgot to mention....there is one possible med....LDN. Low dose naltrexone. Look it up. It happens to be specific for inflammation, hidden infection, immunity, pain, and....crohns.
Any time you've got gut slowness, the easiest fastest healthiest way to reverse that is vitamin C. The common way to know what our best dose is, is simple....a dose that is too high will cause soft stools or diarrhea. Find that dose, and then stay at a dose just slightly under that.
And of course, what you eat is really really important. If you eat like a normal american, that isn't doing you any good at all. Should be mostly veggies, fruits, some protein, a little bit of grains. In terms of crohns, you definitely should be gluten-free and dairy-free. If you are not, it is going to be a real hard road.
