I remember my neice having very bad eczema, barely controled even by Betnovate, which dramaticly improved when we took a holiday in the sun.
We assumed it was the sunlight, but the dermatologist told my sister that it was likely swimming regularly in the chlorinated swimming pool (the chlorine killed the staph that can complicate eczema)
I have read about people adding a small amount of chlorine bleach to a bath and soaking it it to achive a similar effect - I'm sure if you google bleach baths you will find some info
For the perioral dermatitis, wash the face only with Cetaphil, and dont put steroids on it.
Topical clindamycin might be worth a try if metronidazole isnt cutting it. Pimecrolimus is also an option, though a relatively expensive one
