NET is norepinephrine transporter, it uptakes norepinephrine from the adrenergic nerves - terminating the signal.
Since I have low levels of it, my nerves are swimming in norepinephrine.
The condition is known as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Basically my HR elevates just by standing up (when you stand up, your body naturally puts out a little more catecholamines) However this slight addition is enough to cause me to have POTS.
They actually found if you give health volunteers reboxetine (which is a NET inhibitor) they develop POTS as well. I believe they have to give a fairly high dose though.
Anyway my doctor suggested carvedilol.
