Are you taking Trileptal 600 mg/day?I would suggest that you take what works now and perhaps worry about optimizing your treatment regime later.
Several study groups have reported that combining Trileptal with lithium is more effective than lithium alone in treating some cases of bipolar disorder - particularly hypomania with impulsivity.
