so right now im having a severely inhibited response to pleasurable things. lack of energy and motivation to the extreme. the main thing that caused this was being on Mirapex for about a month at the end of 2009, and now ive been stuck like this. after the mirapex i tried tianeptine and while it was in my system i felt quite a bit better. but once the med wore off my condition was even worse. since then i have tried many different meds and also rTMS. i have gotten zero help from them.
the problem i believe is my dopamine autoreceptors being stimulated for too long leading to my brains natural dopamine production to be turned off, or at least drastically reduced. now my idea is to take a sufficiently strong antipsychotic to block off my autoreceptors and then take Adderall along with it. now i dont know how well this would work since i had taken adderall along with geodon back in 2005 and it had caused the same problem mirapex had caused.
maybe it just wasnt a strong enough antipsychotic? or just too low a dose?it is just after taking these meds that stimulated dopamine receptors for about a month, it has the opposite effect on me. when i 1st start on something like adderall, i have increased motivation, clearer thoughts and i am more creative. but after about a month my drive and energy are ruined and my thinking process is messed up. and i am stuc like that.
i think if i could block off the autoreceptors then i would be able to feel better on adderall without any long term bad effects.
