Have you been to any IRL support groups besides NA? Maybe something specifically geared toward schizophrenia? You might meet some people there that can share about their experiences with meds and trying to get well.
Another website I read is psychcentral. However, if you find babble readers to be tough on you, I don't think you'd do well on PC. They don't really have civility rules there, so people feel free to be downright mean. I have been very hurt and attacked there for relatively innocuous posts.
