I was told that a week of prednisone can stimulate the nerves to grown again but after a certain amount of time that's it never smell taste again. The "reminder" of what things smell like helps to remember what things taste like also. And now they are saying there could be a link to early Alzheimers with loss of smell. Ever heard this before?
