I'm guessing the neuron firing would have to do with seizures and what triggers them. I wonder since valium prevents seizure also like in alchohol withdrawal if they are not all pretty similar. I don't know though. The docs used to say klonopin was less addictive hence they went from xanax to klonopin. Phillipa
