Somehow I missed this post. I'd have ever intention of having first repeats of MRI's done a year ago. Then definitely let them send MRI's to Hopkins. I've been researching also seems that first must do PT, then see Surgeon again, then if the osteoporosis I know I have it says many sites that first treatment of osteoporosis needs to take place. But one thing said it calcium also. And been on it for years with magnesium. As for weight bearing excercises having been a jogger til mid 50's actually longer evidently weight bearing excercise should have prevented it and didn't. Also age of patient taken into consideration. And general health. Many back surgeries leave a patient in worse shape than before. Odds must be weighed very carefully. I need to be active. Phillipa
