> i would take just klonipin for my dep and anxiety i think it would work except it becomes addictive any thoughts
my doctor had me try just being on xanax as both an antidepressant and anti-anxiety and was not worried about addiction with me. (also knowing my personality)
to me, the word addiction can mean different things.
- we are all in a sense addicted to our meds, they need a withdrawal period and we sometimes need to increase the dose. i have been on the same amount of 2mg xanax xr for over 3 years.
- if something is "addicting", but helping someone live, the benefits outweigh the risks.
-a friend with an addictive personality said she cannot take immediate acting substances because she can't stop. so in that sense, it would have been abuse. i think the abuse part should be more of the concern.I think if just taking klonopin works, that's awesome. And that's less meds. Dr's always have different oppinions.
