well, to be honest, you said what has been on my mind. i'm strongly considering drinking the whole bottle. the doc that prescribed it is very expensive and we have already spent 500 dollars in 3 weeks for him. so, funds are running low.
i went to my regular doc yesterday and he wasnt interested in helping me with injecting a legitimate dose of ketamine. after that i felt so desperate i stopped at the emergency room at the nice big hospital they just built in my city. i figured they have just about everything there in order to help me, and the only thing holding them back is them just being willing to help me. i brought my bottle of ketamine with me to show them that my psychiatrist did indeed prescribe it for me, but only in baby doses. i told them all day thoughts of suicide are on my mind(which they are) and they said all they can do for me is send me to a mental hospital where i can have many of my rights taken away from me and be given one of these fantastic antidepressants (sarcasm) that they have out these days. otherwise, i just have to go back to my regular psychiatrist.
now, im going to look into the clinical trials and hope to God i can get into one quickly. it says on many of them they dont accept people with high blood pressure, even when controlled by medication. so this may be a problem for me. and also, they may be loke 500miles away.
so, like i said, i'm considering just drinking what i have left, which is about 250mgs i think. i'm going down hill too fast, and feeling horrible. it seems doctors would rather me jump off cliff, than give me the legitimate treatment i need.
i even tried contacting my doctor, but despite what hes being paid, he doesnt take phone calls. i had to speak to one of his very "unknowledgeable" (is that a word?) nurses that didnt even know what dose of ketamine i was on. but anyways, i was calling to see if he was willing to either give me a dose of ketamie that is used in all the studies or if he could send me to someone that is willing to. but the nurse said i would have to make an appointment for that, which i cant afford anymore.so, any advice for me if i decide to drink it? i know it takes amuch higher dose when taken orally to get the same effects as when injected.
