Actually Phillipa the study was not about gaining weight while on ADs. It was about gaining weight after discontinuing a short course of ADs. The point being that ADs cause changes that occur even after the AD is discontinued. When you stop taking ADs you don't get the same brain back again.
And you can't undo the changes that you have made to your brain just by stopping the meds.
Anyway it was just a study with ratties(poor little guys) but I thought it was intriguing.
> Seriously I've not seen this in real life in fact have seen some as they feel better lose weight. Those that I've seen that gain don't seem to care. Maybe since my doses have traditionally been low that is why I don't gain on them. Also not having taste and smell eliminates desire to eat. But now I eat lots of dark chocolate and have ice cream once or twice a week and I do think this is adding some weight. I need to stop them. Phillipa
