Just to answer some of your questions...I haven't had any more dissociative or panic episodes. I was originally prescribed lithium to boost an antidepressant. The 600 mg dose is only because I cannot tolerate anything higher.
My anxiety is more a sense of doom or dread, like a feeling that I need to get away from something.
I experience it while I am in moderate depression as well as severe. I think there is some claustrophobia mixed in, isn't that weird?My mental energy level is almost always low except when I have a lot of caffeine.
I have had "speeded up" thoughts very rarely, but not what I would consider racing thoughts.I am so glad you are getting better. I have not been in remission in years, but anafranil was the first med to really work for me and there was about a 40% improvement in my depression. This is my third episode of depression. They have been about 10 years apart.
