Very glad Australia lacks this little nasty (though we have no shortage of ticks)

Where I live (in tropical northern Australia) we occasionaly get outbreaks og dengue fever, and a viral encephalitis called ross river fever.... though the government fogs to control the mosquitos.

A few years ago there was a case of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever in a woman who had never left Australia - god knows where that came from.
