I am not aware of any specific interaction between propofol and MAOIs. IV benzodiazepines (most often midazolam) are also used during endoscopy. Monitoring of BP and oxygen saturation is needed.

Meperidine/Pethidine is sometimes used as an analgesic using endoscopy. It is vital that your doctors are aware that it can interact severely with MAOIs and must not be used.
