Sleep paralysis

I never had this happen before, but a couple of nights ago, I kept waking up over and over again feeling like I was paralyzed and couldn't breathe. Very scary feeling. By the third time, some rational, semi-awake part of my brain reminded me that I wasn't suffocating, but was just dreaming. I worried this was sleep apnea, but it didn't happen again. Just that one night.
