Abilfy never gave me insomnia (or never worsened my insomnia -- I've been an insomniac all my life), but parnate does. I alternate taking 25mg seroquel and 100mg trazadone plus 2mg ativan. I don't want to get too much tolerance to the ativan.
When I get really screwed up with agitated depression, as I still do sometimes, I take 4mg risperdal or 10mg haldol, prn, and 2mg ativan. This will knock me out for 12 or 14 hours.
