SSRI overdose cause brain damage?

Posted by Michaelho on December 9, 2011, at 4:20:12

I know ssri's block the reuptake of neurotransmitters by the sending neuron. This means more serotonin in the synapse.

I have just read livestrong and it mentions "with too much medication, neurotransmitter levels can become detrimental, resulting in damage to the nerves that send signals from the brain to other parts of the body."
